Week One - Write a summary of the class reading book you looked at last term. What was it called? Who wrote it? What was the basic storyline? What stood out for you as its main themes? Would you recommend it to someone else?
Last term i read a book called Midnite by Randolph Stow.
Im not use to the type of sense a humor in this book but i found it quite a good book. I liked the parts were Midnite always was stuck in jail but his cat named Khat saved him "every" time he was introuble. I found this book confusing, because lots of different things were happening. Midnite also had lots of animals he had a dog called Gyp, a bird called Major, a cow called Dora and a horse called Red Ned. Khat could talk so he was one of the main charectors to.
My favourite charector would have to be O' Grady him and Midnite were friends but O'Grady is a very smart and tricky friend.
My favourtie part of the book would be when Khat and Midnite were in the wine celler and they had never tasted wine before so they got really drunk and Midnite got caught in jail. Oh and Midnite is a well known bush ranger who was in love with Laura Welborn.
If you are into a silly sense of hummor and a laugh book i would deffintley reccomend this book to you!!!!!!

i loved it oh and the book i read last term was a wrinkle in time.it was written by medelien wringle.
it ewas about a sister and a brother and the sisters boyfriend and they go on a adventure to as nother planet
it was really exiting and the planet is contriolled by a giant brain called IT it has taken the sisters dad
hre gets cought up in a wirlpool and it tries suckking his brain in to a blendeer.it is really exiting and really aWSOME SO THATS IT FROM ME mWA MWA MEA YARON

Week Two - What type of books do you enjoy reading? Do you like funny books? Science Fiction? Scary stories? Adventure? Sad stories? Do you have a favourite book at the moment? Do you prefer to read stories where the main character is your age? Male? Female?
I like reading scary, adventure and sad stories. I like the sad and adventure stories cause they make me not want to put the book down when i go to sleep.
I find them very intersesting. I also like reading funny books so they make me laugh in the night. My favourite book at the moment would haev to be the worry tree, Its sad and a very dramatic book. I dont mind stories were the main charector isnt my age i just like reading really interesting books.
But ususally when i read books its about people in middle school or adventures. When i go to bed i read about 3 chapters a night.
If im reading a really good book sometimes i read about 5 or 4. I dont really read picture books are fiction books. Oh and i dont mind if the main charector isnt my age i usually read books when the main charector is about 10 or 20. Oh and i deffintely recommend the worry tree to everyone!!!
You most disliked character in a book and why.' I like all the charectors in books that i have read, but there is one book called the worry tree that i dont like this one charector. It is a little sister called Oaf. She is annoying, she has a big sister and she is really annoying to her. Oaf always stalks her sister and annoys her. Since Oaf is the younger sister she always gets the older sister introuble. The mum always blames the older one. Oaf is very sneaker.
She messes up the older sisters room and when she isnt there she goes in her room and steels some of her most valuable things. The older sisters name is Julia. Julia gets really annoyed with Oaf, when Oaf really got on Julia's nerves she would get a big red rash. The worst part is that Julia and Oaf share a room and they do not like it at all. The mum is always stressed because she is fed up with them, because they always fight. Oaf always sings these really annoying songs. I like it how they always fight, but i feel sorry for the mum.

he is so anoying how he just creep all over the showe ansd he is jus anoying.
but he adds quite alot to the story swo i suppose he is a good charecter
my favourite charecter is probably sam from the extreme adventure seriouse that we are reading at home for libabry.sam is mu best beacuse he is so adventuroius and love being active and he is so smart and he aleways finds a way out of probablams .my favourute boojk with sam in it is scopian szting.sam thinks he had stumbled across the feilds of a terrosist camp but actually it was a secret security system that the head of the army and the primeinister organized
What has been your most favourite Justin D'Ath extreme adventure book and why?
I havent read an extreme adventure book yet but they sound really good and I will try one.
but i have read a book called " cyclone tracy" its a very good book.
I have read an extreme adventure book it is called anoconda ambush and i am in the middle of reading an extreme adventure book and it is called maneater.
Anaconda ambush is my favourtie cause it is more exciting and easier to understand. but i havent finished it so at end i might like it better.
Who ever write that you should read one they are really good books so i recommend you to read anaconda ambush.
The thing i like about anaconda ambush is that there a alot of different types of cultures and people and i learnd about more animals which i didn't know about and i learnt more about the bush and the nature. I never knew wat an anaconda was and some of the animals in the book i have never even heard about.
For those of you who dont know what an anaconda is it is a big snkae and it is the biggest snake in the world and is very dangerous. I really like extreme adventures and before the libary session when we got to borrow them i had never heard of them....
That sound like a good book. If you haven't read Devil Danger I recommend that book to you Tammi.
